Nowhere do top-tier golf and 5-star comfort sit quite so close together as in Belek. On the Turkish Riviera, championship courses run through pine forests and, right beside them, you get resorts where the breakfast buffet, the spa and plenty more are already included. Often even the green fees.
Golf, resort-style
Courses such as the Montgomerie Maxx Royal or the National Golf Club have staged international tournaments and are still bookable for guests. That is what makes Belek so easy. Many resorts have their own courses and sell packages with unlimited golf. Travelling with family, or with someone who has zero interest in fairways? Then this is about as relaxed as it gets: pool, beach and kids' club are all just a few steps away.
Best time & getting there
Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) are the sweet spot: 20–28 °C, and fairways kept in excellent condition. In high summer, though, it turns properly sporty at 35 °C+; tee times before 8 am make a real difference. Antalya has several direct flights a week from Switzerland, and the transfer to Belek takes only about 30 minutes.
